This is one of the very few rooms that spreads *true* No Limit in Northern Ca. Deuce's is about 30 minutes from downtown, and ~15 minutes from the Roseville area.
The room, since their recent remodel is clean, well lit, maintained, and very well put together. Flat screens all around, beer and wine served and often snacks, pizza, etc. for players.
Atmosphere: Brand new, since the remodel. New tables, brand new room. Spacious, and comfortable all the way around.
Dealers: Very professional. I play/have played in just about every card room in N. CA and I can say that this is one of, if not the best run, card room in the area.
Both the Dealers and Floor are fast, well trained and spot on.
I have played in this room for the past few years, and have *never* had a complaint about a Dealer or a Floor person or Management decision.
Food: Full wine / beer bar. Service is top notch.
There is a Mexican food place next door that delivers to the players.
Often during tourneys / weekends, they will orders pizza or snacks for the players. If you want other food, there are several options within a mile.
Service: Wait lists are not bad and move quickly. On a busy night, you may see a 15 minute wait to get in a game. As soon as there are enough players, a new game opens. The Floor does an excellent job of balancing tables, keeping the main games going, seating new players, etc. You can call in and put your name on the list for both the cash games and tourneys.
Management and Floor is always 100% friendly and helpful to both long time poker "grinders" and new players, alike. As stated before, 100% polite, refer to you by first name, greet you, thank you for coming in, thank you for playing, and all around friendly and helpful.
100% service-oriented.
Comps: Free snacks / soda as mentioned above.
They also have BBJP's and Daily High Hand awards.
