Canterbury Park Poker Room features over 30 active tables and offers both cash games and tournament play including the Mid-States Poker Tour, with the main event prize pool often topping $75,000 and because Minnesota residents are not legally allowed to play no-limit hold’em cash games due to state laws, alternative include limit hold’em (stakes as high as $50-$100), plus Omaha eight-or-better and seven-card stud.

Currently, the poker room runs limit hold'em and 2-100 spread limit hold'em going all the time. There are also often Omaha games going. They also have a mixed game that runs often.

Loyal players can expect food and drink discounts during Happy Hour and seated players can request tableside food, drink service and massage. Canterbury Park runs the MVP rewards card program so be sure to hand the dealer your card when you first sit down at the table so you'll accumulate comps that can be used in exchange for any of the aforementioned services.
