Pueblo of Isleta Overview

The name Isleta means "Little Island" in spanish, this is where the Pueblo of Isleta' name came from. Pueblo Isleta is residing in Rio Grande Valley surrounded by manzano mountains to the East and to the desert mesa lands of the Rio Purto Rico. The Pueblo Isleta is one of the larger Pueblo that had been established since 1300s.
