Super Kansas Cash

Super Kansas Cash is a pick 6 (5+1) lottery game played in Kansas. It is the supercharged version of the original Kansas Cash game. Players get two games for one dollar ($1). The game matrix is 5+1 with five numbers drawn from a pool of thirty-two (1-32) plus one number from the second set of twenty-five (1-25). Matching five plus one (5+1) awards the jackpot which begins at one-hundred thousand dollars ($100,000). In addition to the jackpot, there are seven prize divisions with fixed prizes ranging from one dollar to two thousand dollars ($1-$2,000).

The minimum ticket price is $1 which buys two game boards. Players must be at least 18 years old to play any lottery games in Kansas. All prizes are paid out in one lump sum of cash. Federal taxes of 25% and state taxes of 5% are withheld from all prizes of more than $5,000. Winners are allowed to stay anonymous.

How to Play

Drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 9:10 pm. Terminals close for tickets sales at 8:59 pm on the day of the drawing. Tickets can be purchased from lottery retailers all over the state.

Each play slip has twelve boards consisting of two panels each (5+1) To play, either ask for a Quick Pick or mark at least two boards. Pick five numbers from the 32 available (1-32) on the leftmost panel and one number from the next set of 25 (1-25) on the adjacent panel for each board. You can play up to six games on a single play slip for a total cost of three dollars ($3). Players can also purchase the same numbers for up to 15 consecutive draws, including the next available draw date by marking the multi-draw box.

How to Win Super Kansas Cash

Matching five numbers in the left column and one in the right column (5+1) will award the jackpot. This prize which starts at $100,000 will be divided equally if there are multiple winners. The odds of that occurring are the same for everybody at 1:2,517,200. Matching five numbers without matching the Cashball (5+0) will award at least $2,000 but this prize can become parimutuel and increase.

There are set prizes for the remaining six prize levels ranging from $250 for matching four white balls & the Cashball (4+1) all the way down to $1 for matching one and one (1+1).

The odds of matching all five numbers plus the Cashball (5+1) are 1:2,517,200 and the match will award the jackpot.
The odds of matching five numbers with no Cashball (5+0) are 1:1,104,883.
The odds of matching four plus the extra (4+1) are 1:18,646 and the prize is $250.
The odds of matching four numbers (4+0) are 1:777 with a $25 prize.
The odds of matching three plus the Cashball (3+1) are also 1:777 with a $25 prize.
Match three numbers (3+0) to win $2 at odds of 1:30.
Match two numbers plus the Cashball (2+1) for $2. The odds are 1:86.
Match one number plus the Cashball (1+1) at odds of 1:29 to win a $1 cash prize.

Since this is not usually a multi-million dollar game, all prizes are paid out in cash rather than annuities and you have one year to claim your prize minus tax withholdings.
