Update: Whiskey Pete’s Casino, the castle-shaped desert resort on the California-Nevada border, has temporarily closed its doors as of December 17, 2024. Operated by Affinity Interactive, which also owns the nearby Primm Valley Resort and Buffalo Bill’s, the temporary closure was reportedly to make way for new amenities and investments at the other two nearby properties owned by Affinity Gaming.

Historic Whiskey Pete’s Hotel & Casino is one of three Affinity Gaming LLC properties in Primm Nevada. This is the first of the trio, opened in 1977. Primm Valley Resort has more resort amenities, as does Buffalo Bill's but Whiskey Pete's is the place to stay for less and take advantage of everything offered at all of the properties. It's a quick tram ride anywhere as all three are connected by monorail and tram. Whiskey Pete’s is all about fun with no pretense - dress casual and enjoy yourself in a relaxed atmosphere. The 46,000-square-foot casino features more than 300 slots and electronic table games as well as a William Hill sports and race book. The The hotel consists of two towers with over 1,200 rooms and suites, a Buffalo-shaped swimming pool, and several restaurants.
