Star World Galaxy Casino can not simply be described in words. You must see this place to believe it. Although the pictures here show an awesome building, the atmosphere is completely electric and intensified. Add in excellent gaming and customer service and this casino hotel resort is one of the best in the world.

StarWorld Casino in Macau, Macau was our favorite casino when we visited in early 2013.  We stayed at eight different casino complexes and this one - without any hesitation - was our favorite.  Favorite lodging, favorite architecture, favorite view (and we had a lot of good views).  But something is different at Galaxy properties, and I say that in plural because our second favorite casino during our visit to Macau was Galaxy Macau in Cotai (the same owners as Starworld) - this is not a mistake.  The staff at Galaxy properties StarWorld in particular were extremely polite, went above and beyond for us - even recommending other establishments.  This attitude goes a long way with us for sure.

Add in an impecable gaming floor, wonderfully structured rewards card for the casino that not only works at StarWorld Casino but all of the Galaxy properties in Macau and Cotai.  We found ourselves wondering into StarWorld on evenings when we were actually comfortable lodged in other fine establishments to enjoy coffee in the lobby bar and watch the show.

Inagiku Japanese Restaurant

True Japanese delicacies can be found at Inagiku. For over a hundred years this purveyor of fine food has been preparing fresh feasts from the sea and beyond, and the only place you will find them in Macau is at StarWorld. Even simple dishes such as Tonkatsu of Kurobuta Pork Rice are prepared with the utmost care and served by amiable staff, attentive to your every need. Tappan-Yaki may be ordered a la carte and there are perfectly balanced set menus of Teppanyaki full of delicate and delicious richness and variety. Diners will also find a wide selection of sake for the perfect match.

Sensations

Sensations is located inside the casino at StarWorld and offers a wide variety of traditional Chinese cuisine. Whether you desire a calming dish or something spicy and hot you will find it on the menu. You can be in and out in almost no time, or take awhile to savor a delectable meal. Sensations is a great place for a quick sweet treat and a cup of tea too! Sensatons is open 24 hours a day.

Laurel at StarWorld

Laurel at StarWorld is the only branch of the esteemed restaurant outside of mainland China. Serving traditional Cantonese, Szechuan and Hunan cuisines, Laurel has become renowned for premium ingredients and delicious fare. Choose from a variety of hot or cold dishes prepared at the peak of freshness. Dim Sum is served 11:00am – 3:00pm Monday through Friday and 10:00am – 4:00pm on weekends. Hot pot is served during all business hours.

Jade de Jardin

• Serving: Chinese

Many places in the world have restaurants by the name of Jade Garden, but this fine eatery at StarWorld is the same as you will find in Shanghai and features advanced and original renditions of Suzhou and Jiejiang dishes to please any palate. The atmosphere is bright and the mood is always uplifting. The joy of devouring a plate of creamy crab with wine, or smoked eggs with black caviar is simply infectious.

Main Lobby

The Lobby Show at StarWorld is out of this world. Various performances are scheduled throughout the day and night with a rotating cast of troubadours, dancers, and actors. Dance shows run the gamut from traditional Chinese inspired performances to contemporary entertainment to the slightly risqué. Pretty girls, clowns, street dancers, divas, belly dancers and salsa/samba performers will fill you with glee. Please refer to the electronic signage next to lobby stage for daily entertainment program and schedule.

16F Whisky Bar

There are three separate areas of the 16F Whisky Bar at Starworld. If you choose to enjoy your favorite liquid gold al fresco on the terrace you won't have to miss the live performance inside as it will be projected on a screen outdoors giving you the best of both worlds. If you would like a mellow evening after dinner the cigar lounge with its own bar may be more to your liking. BUt if you want to party the night away with top DJs or a live band then the outer lounge is for you.
