Sky City Auckland Casino is located in the Central Business District of Auckland, New Zealand. It was the second casino authorized in NZ and is the only one in Auckland. The complex, including 2 hotels, is located at the base of the Sky Tower - the tallest manmade structure in the country at over 1,000 feet tall. In addition to the tower the property includes a conference center, state-of-the-art theater with seating for 700, 12 bars, 12 restaurants, and 2 hotels - the 316 room SkyCity Grand Hotel and 344 room Sky City Hotel - one with a spa and fitness center and each with indoor pools.

The casino has 2,100 slots and video poker machines, 100 table games, and a 9 table poker room. Sky has been given permission to add over 400 more pokies when their expansion is completed by 2017. The casino was most recently refurbished in 2006.  In addition to mass gaming the casino also features several VIP lounges.

Gusto at the Grand

Gusto at the Grand offers a rustic Italian atmosphere and a menu that focuses on classic flavors and fresh seasonal ingredients.  When buffett times roll around the options are expanded to include a wide variety of European dishes, yet you can always order from the a la carte Italian menu selections.

Indulge in simple ricotta with honey and roasted pine nuts or try a  signature dish such as mushroom risotto. Seafood lovers may wish to try the Acqua Pazza; a whole fish cooked in  sea water.

The Sugar Club

The Sugar Club is located in Sky Tower and offers an atmosphere and decor reminiscent of a 1930's Italian Art Deco establishment. Accents such as brass fittings, stone table tops, and beautiful tableware all augment the feeling. Dining here is somewhat unique in that the chef would like you to enjoy a selection of small dishes for lunch so that you may experience a broader range of gustatory bliss. His suggestion, steered by the menu, is the same for dinner. Please enjoy 3 or 4 small savory dishes and round off your meal with a delicate dessert.

The Grill by Sean Connolly

The Grill by Sean Connelly offers succulent and tender pasture fed meats and sustainable seafood with a kiwi accent. Almost all of the raw materials that go into the masterpieces on the tables come from locally sourced suppliers. One simply can't put words to it, but there is a certain feeling you get from an exquisite meal prepared from fresh and local ingredients. If you are raw bar fan or accustomed to sashimi try the Raw plate of king salmon, snapper, kingfish, and yellowfin tuna, with fresh wasabi and organic soy for a real treat.

MASU Japanese Robata Restaurant and Bar

MASU is amazing headed up by Nic Watt's and not a master chef from the Japanese tradition, yet he has mastered the centuries old craft of fireside cooking. His wide ranging expertise shows up in the carefully selected menu  items, each with an ability to add synchronicity to meal in toto. Enjoy many small dishes and share with family and friends until you each have found the combination of textures, aromas, and flavors that could not possibly be discovered were you to order from a set menu, or visit time and time again.

Jade Dragon

Like many of the fine dining venues at Sky City, the Jade Dragon menu is designed for sharing so that you and your guests will have the opportunity to sample a wide range of flavors, textures, aromas, and visual presentations. All of the fare is constructed from premium New Zealand ingredients. Choose your item from the live fish tank, enjoy succulent barbecue specialties, and explore the wonders of the humble wok.

Orbit 360° Dining

Orbit 360° Dining is situated at the top of the Auckland Sky Tower. The dining room rotates completely in one hour's time. This is the only place in the world that you will experience 360° panoramas of the city, the Hauraki Gulf and beyond from such a vantage point over 1,000 feet in the air. The setting is amazing and the venue features a menu to match. In addition to great food and exemplary service (please see the menu posted here) diners receive a complimentary pass to the Sky Tower observation decks - se this pass before or after dinner at your convenience.

Bellota

Bellota was voted into the top 5 in Metro Best of Auckland 2010 winner of 'Best Tapas Bar' as well as Metro Best of Auckland 2010 winner of 'Best first drink on a first date', so if you love tapas and want to trust a bartender to render the magic elixir of courage and love then this is the place for you.  Of course the Portuguese refer to the tapa as something quite alien to Basque cuisine, and this is your typical Portuguese style tapas bar with a wide variety of choices rather than simple custardy omelets. Enjoy!

Fortuna Buffet Restaurant

The Fortuna buffet offers patrons exceptional value for their money without sacrificing quality for selection and convenience. The menu is so diversified that if you chose only one place to dine while at Sky City this should definitely be the place. Depot

Celebrity Chef Al Brown of New Zealand presents Depot to Sky City diners. Most of the fare here is cooked over hardwood and charcoal to bring out its natural goodness and flavors. Order up several small plates and pass them around to make a festive meal of any occasion or no occasion at all. A couple of the highlights here are the freshly shucked oysters and the tight but right wine list featuring Al's top choices. Coffee is on every morning at 7am.

Rebo

Rebo offers al fresco and inside dining, depending upon the weather, from their Mediterranean inspired menu. There is no need to make a reservation as there is plenty of room in this stylish contemporary atmosphere. The Deli & Noodle Bar

The Deli & Noodle Bar is located on the Main Casino Floor of the biggest casino in New Zealand so they stay open late - Noodle Bar is open until 2:30am and the Deli is open until 3:30. Grab a fantastic meal or light snack at a great price.

The 700 seat SKYCITY Theatre hosts many of the best acts in New Zealand and is the perfect intimate venue for viewing local and international events.
