Located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Potawatomi Hotel & Casino features more than 1.1 million square feet of space spread over three floors and is one of the largest Indian casinos in the U.S. It is owned and operated by the Forest County Potawatomi Community, which opened the Canal Street casino on March 7, 1991. The Menominee Valley property features a total of 500 guest rooms which span its two towers. An additional 119 standard rooms joined the existing 381 with the completion of a new 19-story wing in August 2019. The $100 million investment and 180,000-square-foot wing also included another roomy 1,600-square-foot top-floor suite, the Chairman's Suite, along with more meeting space. 

Potawatomi Casino Hotel's outdoor concert venue, located at 1721 W. Canal St., just west of the Menomonee Valley casino complex, has a capacity for 4,800 patrons, with a range of seating and free parking in the Potawatomi parking lot. Potawatomi is also looking to build a $200 million indoor concert venue that will seat up to 6,000 people. Upon approval from the city, the tribe plans to break ground in early 2025.

Potawatomi's multiple dining venues and bars serve everything from the finest in steaks and seafood to the delectable tastes of Asia, comfort food and quick-service dining options from Potawatomi Marketplace. Visitors will also find some of the best unique food and drink services here, including Rock & Brews, a rock-music-themed restaurant from KISS legends Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, and ElevenHundred Bar & Lounge, which features blackjack, roulette and craps tables, along with 600-plus slot machines. 

Gaming amenities include more than 3,000 slots with diverse themes, fast-hit progressives and multiple denominations. Slots, progressives and more can be found in a High Limit slots room and in and bars and lounges throughout the casino's three levels. There are also nearly 100 live gaming tables and electronic table games, including a 14-table poker room featuring poker tournaments, and a 640-plus seat Bingo Hall.

Potawatomi's 6,500 square-foot retail sports betting venue includes three tiers of seating for more than 200 people and features a 2,000 square-foot LED video wall, 20 large-screen TVs, a full-service bar with bar-top gaming, and a full kitchen. The sportsbook, which is part of Potawatomi's $190 million renovation project of the casino’s third floor, is situated in the space formerly occupied by Northern Lights Theater and The Fire Pit Sports Bar & Grill. In total, it stacks up to more than 180,000 square feet of gaming space.

Guests can also purchase souvenirs, gifts, snacks and tobacco products at the gift shop.

This place is not to be missed if you're passing through Milwaukee, and for the avid gambler, you will want to have it on your must-see list. The property is also just an 18-minute walk to Harley-Davidson Museum, a 2-minute drive to The Rave-Eagles Club, 4 minutes by car to Fiserv Forum and approx. 12-minutes to Milwaukee, WI (MKE-General Mitchell Intl.).

Located off the first-floor gaming area, Potawatomi Marketplace offers a variety of quick-service dining options and grab-and-go snacks. Visitors can choose from seven separate spaces, each of which highlights its own cuisine. The first two concepts – Burger Co. and Project Pizza Co. – are now (May 2023) open for business. Burger Co. offers made-to-order burgers, milkshakes, and hand-cut fries, among other offerings; while Project Pizza Co. specializes in high-quality pizzas made with hand-stretched dough and the finest ingredients; and Mini and Wow aims to satisfy your sweet tooth with build-your-own (BYO) cookies and mini ice cream mixers. 

Small Bar, Gilded Cleaver, Queen of Ramen, and Taco Spot are also slated to open inside Potawatomi Marketplace.

 

 

RuYi

Located in the casino at Potawatomi, RuYi specializes in authentic Asian cuisine including Japanese, Chinese, Korean and Thai favorites prepared "as you wish." The restaurant offers a traditional Asian menu featuring dishes like Orange Chicken and Pad Thai, Korean Spicy Wok Noodles, and other house specialties.

Canal Street Café

Located adjacent to the lobby and main entrance to the hotel, the Canal Street Café offers all day dining options and a full bar. Located inside Potawatomi Sportsbook, "The Kitchen" serves classic pub grub and gameday classics including wings, burgers, sandwiches, fries and other appetizers, and desserts. Sports fans can also play bar-top machines and choose from locally-inspired tailgate-approved favorites, such as the John Kuhn Dog, named after the popular former Packers fullback and current radio host, topping a half-pound hot dog with bison chili, cheddar cheese, kimchi, jalapenos and onions.
