Located in Cotai, in the heart of Macau’s entertainment scene, the $2.4 billion City of Dreams opened in June 2009 and is owned and managed by Melco Resorts & Entertainment Limited. The casino complex features five towers; the Grand Hyatt Macau (2 towers), Nüwa, known until 2018 as Crown Towers, The Countdown Hotel, known until July 2017 as Hard Rock Hotel and Morpheus. Designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, Morpheus opened on June 15, 2018. The $1.1 billion 40-story hotel dubbed the world’s first free-form, exoskeletal high-rise, houses 770 guest rooms, suites and sky villas, lobby atrium, gaming rooms, two Alain Ducasse restaurants and bar, a Pierre Hermé bakery and the Chinese restaurant, Yi, on the 21st floor Sky Bridge.
