Mount Airy Casino Resort in Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania is an adults-only escape with a rich history reaching back to the 1800s. Once the favorite haunt of Las Vegas celebrities like Bob Hope and Tony Bennett, and known for over 50 years as the ultimate honeymoon getaway in America, the lodge was completely reconstructed to the tune of $412 million. It re-opened in 2007 with a luxurious 188-room hotel where the original lodge was located. There are over 1,000 acres of pristine Pennsylvania land here including an 18-hole golf course and paddle ball courts.

The casino itself spans over 60,000 square feet and houses nearly 1,700 gaming machines, more than 70 table games, a sports book and an 12-table live-action poker room with tournaments, jackpots, and cash games. The hotel is elegant and opulent and certainly designed for lovers with floor-to-ceiling mirrors, velvet-draped canopy beds, and heart-shaped bathtubs in the heated glass-enclosed rooms within the bedroom area. Some rooms even have giant see-through martini glass-shaped Jacuzzi tubs.

Live entertainment by headline acts is presented all throughout the year with an outdoor summer concert series during the warmer months. The spa is luxurious and well-appointed, and the six restaurants offer dining opportunities ranging from a snack at Starbucks to fine Italian dining at Le Sorelle Cucina or classic steak and seafood at Red. The 900-acre resort is complemented by a 20,000-square-foot convention center and ballroom that serve as a state-of-the-art venue for private and corporate events, weddings and entertainment.
