Casino Lisboa is situated in the thick of the newer casinos in town, yet it was one of the first.  It opened officially in 1970, however it is well known that it was taking bets earlier than this date.   While the casino itself clearly shows the time and era of this building, its managed to keep up by providing incredible dining and casino gaming for its visitors.  We do recommend the Grand Lisboa if you are interested in more modern surroundings.  It's also operated by SJM and Grand Lisboa is only a few steps away (you can even use the pedestrian walkway) from the original Lisboa. On the other hand if you are a more money conscious gambler, stay here at the original Lisboa to save some money and you will not be missing any of the action since you will automatically be in the thick of it.

Within very close walking distance you will find Wynn, Encore, Grand Lisboa, President Casino, Crystal Palace, Grand Emperorer and more.  The Lisboa Casinos themselves covers three stories and is in four major sections.  You will find mainly table gaming here, although there are a few slot machines in the building, too.

Guincho a Galera

Portuguese fine dining has never been experienced at such a high level outside of their home country before. The restaurant here is Guincho a Galera and all of the delicacies of Portugal can be found here, prepared with utmost skill and presented in a manner befitting their rich heritage.

Portas do Sol

The grand cuisine of China is served with seasonal specialties by Portas do Sol at Lisboa Casino Hotel. Appetizers run the gamut from Pan-fried Kagoshima beef roll with watercress to Crispy duck’s tongue in spicy salt. Barbecue specialties include Marinated pork trotter slices with jelly fish and Pan-fried ox-tongue with wasabi mustard. Other specialties they feature are Braised superior bird’s nest with bamboo piths and Yunnan ham as well as a wide choice of shark's fin and abalone dishes. In fact the menu is over 20 pages long.
