It’s located just off the Las Vegas Strip, next to the Tropicana and across the street from the MGM Grand. Hooters Casino Hotel might fool you at first. It’s not loaded with traditional Las Vegas glitzy signage. In fact, it’s a rather plain looking place on the outside. Adventurers are rewarded with great rooms.

Hooters Casino Hotel has comfortable rooms with an island-casual décor. It isn’t a huge property, so if you want something right in the heart of the Vegas action that’s smaller and friendly, Hooters Casino Hotel is your place. Aside from the regular rooms, Hooters Casino Hotel has private suites, which feature whirlpools. Their suites are spacious and just the thing for those wanting a little more out of their stay.
As you might expect, Hooters Casino Hotel has a Hooters restaurant in it. However, they have other options if that’s not your style. Mad Onion Fine Food & Spirits offers a wide variety of menu options and a very extensive wine list. It’s a nice change of pace for those looking for more of a traditional meal setting. I like to think of Hooters Casino Hotel as the place for casual people. If you want to relax, loosen your belt and let yourself go, this is a great place to do it. Those seeking three piece suits and elitist type venues should look elsewhere.

When you visit Hooters Hotel Casino, stop by Porch Dogs (Porch Bar). It’s a great indoor-outdoor beach club. Porch Dogs has a straw roof, live music, cold drinks and a party that’s going all day and night. Guests of Hooters Hotel Casino are not limited by any means. Famous places like MGM Grand, Luxor and New York New York are within a two-minute walk.

Hooters Casino Hotel Las Vegas Poker Room

Hooters offers one of the few smoking rooms in Las Vegas.   The new room  has 2 tables of poker action.  Tournaments are offered daily at 10a Mon- Fri and at 7p on Mon night, there's a HORSE tournament with a $40 entry fee.

Players can call from your room to get on the list, but there is no direct line to the poker room.

 

The tables are in good shape with autoshufflers.  Chairs are fixed leg.  There are two easily visible plasma screens and the room is located right next to the bar for fast drink service.

 

Comps are given at the rate of $1 per hour and an entry into the freeroll tournament for 10 hours of play.  You can use your comps to eat at the table or go to Hooters just a few steps away...hmm.
