Update: On February 13, 2019, the Enterprise Rancheria placed the last beam on the eight-story Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain in a topping off ceremony. The under-construction mega-resort located in the North Sacramento Valley, north of I-80 and west of Highway 99, is part of a 17-year effort by the tribe to establish a casino on reallocated land just south of Marysville. The property will reportedly employ 1,000 workers and feature a 200-room hotel, along with an outdoor pool and deck area, large meeting space and a selection of bars and restaurants. Also to be included are signature brand amenities like the Rock Shop® and Body Rock® fitness center. The casino floor will have between 1,800 - 2,000 games.

Preliminary site work is underway for Hard Rock Sacramento, a joint venture between Hard Rock Cafe International, acquired by the Seminole Tribe of Florida, and the Enterprise Rancheria Indian tribe. The partnership will see a mega-resort built in Yuba County, with the casino resort situated just a quarter-mile from the Toyota Amphitheatre and a short drive from the Sacramento International Airport (SMF). While details about the resort have yet to be released by either of the parties, the venue will cost about $440 million and is expected to open in October 2019.
