Resorts World Genting is located within the Titiwangsa Mountains on the border between the states of Pahang and Selangor of Malaysia in an area known as Genting Highlands. The resort can be reached by car from Kuala Lumpur in about one hour. The resort sits high in the hills at 1,740 metres (5,710 ft) above sea level and can be reached from the base of the mountain by taking the 3.38 km (2.10 mile) Genting Skyway.

The project began in 1967 and the first hotel opened in 1971. There are now seven luxury hotels including Crockfords, Highlands Hotel (formerly Maxims), Genting Grand, Genting SkyWorlds Hotel, Resort Hotel, Awana, and First World Hotel, with over 10,400 rooms in total; more than 25 restaurants and cafes, several entertainment venues, indoor and outdoor theme parks, including Genting Sky World opened in 2022, a unique 18-hole golf course, bowling center, spa, convention center, and 204,514 square feet of gaming with over 3,000 slots and more than 400 gaming tables spread over Genting Casino and SkyCasino.

The Genting International Showroom is located across from Genting Palace, Genting Grand. Genting International Convention Center

The Genting International Convention Center and its 136,329 sq. ft. of total meeting space features The Grand Ballroom (24,294.2 total sq. ft.) the largest column-free hall in Malaysia and is perfect for hosting up to 3,500 participants comfortably, theatre-style or up to 1,800 guests banquet-style, The hall can be divided into two or four areas as necessary. Arena of Stars

Park Avenue Lounge

Located at Level M, Sky Avenue, adjacent to Wolfgang’s Steakhouse, Park Avenue Lounge is the perfect place to go to enjoy tea or pre-dinner drinks via a curated drinks menu which features handcrafted cocktails, bar bites and more. The tasting menu allows visitors to sample signature dishes from the award-winning steak restaurant, including Wolfgang’s Hi-Tea, and at the Lounge Bar, Wolfgang’s Delight, a 200 gram New York sirloin steak served with chopped salad. The lounge offers amazing views via floor-to-ceiling windows of Genting SkyWorlds.
