Developers Shopoff Realty Investments and Contour broke ground on the $550 million Dream Las Vegas casino resort on Las Vegas Boulevard, near McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas on Friday, July 7, 2022. The ceremony marks the start of construction of the property, which is expected to open in late 2024. The project will reportedly feature restaurants, nightlife, a third-level pool deck and meeting and event space.

After in February 2020, originally announcing plans to debut its flagship lifestyle brand Dream Hotels in Las Vegas, New York-based hotel and brand management company Dream Hotel Group received approval on October 6, 2021, from the Clark County Commission for its planned 19-story hotel-casino that would be built on an approximately 5-acre plot of land on Las Vegas Boulevard across from Mandalay Bay Resort and Bali Hai Golf Club near the south edge of the Strip. Developers hope to break ground by the late second quarter or early third quarter of 2022 and open in Q3 2024.

According to reports, the final development will be a full-service, 19-story, luxury hotel with 531 guest rooms and suites (branded and managed by Dream Hotel Group) and include eight food and beverage venues, 22,000 square feet of casino space, theater/screening room, and 825 dedicated parking spaces.
