After three years of construction, the new Chicken Ranch Casino Resort located off Highway 108 in Jamestown, California, hosted a soft opening on July 15th, 2024. The grand opening will come in the fall of 2024 once construction is completed on the convention center and the remaining restaurants. The casino resort includes a five-story, 175-room & 22-suite hotel with a rooftop pool, a 9,000 sq ft conference center, a Cyber Quest arcade, and more. The 100,000-square-foot casino with 900 slot machines and nearly 20 live dealer table games and electronic table games. 

Currently under construction are an arcade, a spa, and a large pool/club area will open in 2025. Just around the 2024 NFL preseason, the resort plans to incorporate a Class Two Sportsbook, which will be the first of its kind in the nation, as a combination of sports betting and bingo.

The casino is smoke-free but does offer a dedicated smoking deck. Guests must be 21 and older because alcohol is served.

Nestled within the picturesque Sierra Nevada foothills and just 60 minutes from the beautiful Yosemite National Park and two hours from San Francisco International Airport. The new casino resort is in addition to the original Chicken Ranch Casino, which opened next door as a bingo hall in 1985. The properties are owned and operated by the Chicken Ranch Rancheria of Me-Wuk Indians.

Nearby popular attractions include Railtown 1897 State Park, Columbia State Historical Park and Knights Ferry Recreation Area.

Located just off the sprawling casino floor, Wahlburgers, the burger chain founded by actors Mark and Donnie Wahlberg and their chef brother Paul, is more than a burger place. The menu is inspired by real dishes from the family's Dorchester kitchen, recreated by Chef Paul who puts a twist on house specials, which include the Thanksgiving Day Sandwich (Mark's fave), the BBQ Bacon burger (Donnie's fave), Mom's Sloppy Joe (Alma's fave), and the Our Burger, a 1/3-pound burger with lettuce, tomato, onion, American "government" cheese, Paul's signature "wahl" sauce and housemade pickles. Frappes, floats, both boozy and not, and a drink menu are also featured.

Located on the second floor near the slot machines, (209) Sports Bar + Kitchen specializes in hand-tossed brick-oven pizza along with classic pub fare like Mother Lode Nachos, wings, and other appetizers, as well as heartier options. Signature drinks, cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, and a variety of draft beers from local and regional microbreweries are also offered. This gastro-pub also features HDTV screens, tabletop and bar-top gaming, and two rentable private dining rooms. Each room fits 10 people and has a 128-inch TV, couches, chairs and a table. The rooms can be rented individually, or the connecting divider can be removed for one large space.
