Update: Changes coming to Belle of Baton Rouge as the riverboat casino moves to land and is rebranded The Queen Baton Rouge, include the relocation, a total hotel renovation and new dining options. The estimated $100 project is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2025.  

Located in the heart of downtown Baton Rouge, Louisianna, the Belle of Baton Rouge Casino and Hotel is only steps away from the scenic Mississippi River and the Baton Rouge River Center. The property is owned by Gaming and Leisure Properties and operated by CQ Holding and includes a 288-room hotel, three restaurants and a bar, an outdoor pool, meeting and event space and, 17,000 sq ft of gaming, which is spread over three decks and features roughly 750 slots, video poker, keno machines, and electronic table games. 

The Queen Casino & Entertainment, the parent company of the property, recently moved another downtown riverboat it owns onto land. The Queen of Baton Rouge, formerly Hollywood Casino, opened to the public on August 24, 2023. The new casino includes more than 100,000 square feet of casino space, four dining options, 6,000-plus square feet of meeting and event space, 700-plus gaming machines, 18 gaming tables, a dedicated smoking patio, LIT Casino & Bar, with more than 100 slots and six table games and a DraftKings Sportsbook.
