Wizards Casino closed on June 9, 2009 due to the economy and lingering effects from a previous a smoking ban after being in business since 1998. The card room re-opened in February of 2010 much to the delight of locals and regulars. The card room is located at 15739 Ambaum Boulevard Southwest in Burien (Seattle) Washington and now offers 5 poker tables and 10 card games such as Texas Hold 'em, Baccarat, Pai Gow, Spanish 21 and Blackjack.

There is also a restaurant serving American, Chinese, and Pan-Asian cuisine and the bar holds 3 "Happy Hours" daily for a total of nine hours of discount drink specials. Open 24 hours on the weekends, the gaming age at Wizards Casino is 21+.

Game on at Wizards! Come for the noon No Limit tournament ($35 buy-in, 15 minute levels, no re-entry or re-buy) on Monday, Wednesday, & Saturday and the house will add $500 to the pot. Tuesday and Thursday they add $100 to the noon tournament pots. Sign in begins at 11:30am.

Monday through Friday evening tournaments begin at 7pm. Sunday nights they pay out $250 high hands twice each hour. Buy in for $65, the house adds $200. Sign in beginning at 6:30. Popular promotion get there early!

Cash games are always on, 2-20 Spread Limit Hold'em with a $40 buy in.

With the new management at Wizards came a new dining experience serving a unique variety of Asian, American, and Pan-Asian cuisine. If you are a soup fanatic you have to check out their menu. From the duck soup to the hot and sour, and much raved about Pho. Of course there are American specialties on the menu as well including a full breakfast menu. Steaks, ravioli, quail, lobster, you name it, Wizards kitchen prepares it and you just have to try it to believe it.
