The casino at The Westin Las Vegas Hotel, Casino & Spa is now referred to by them as Max Casino, although it is still known by many as Westin Casuarina. Here you will find 250 slots and video poker games and 8 tables. The property is only a block from the Las Vegas Strip and offers over 800 well appointed rooms with smoking banned in all areas of the property except one part of the casino. In fact Westin was the first to ban offensive odors in Las Vegas. There is a 2,000 seat theater as well as several restaurants and lounges.
It is amazing how much difference one block from the Strip can make and this sanctuary places you in a place of peace and hospitality, with the option to jump right into the middle of the mayhem at a moments notice. Enjoy the 10,000 square foot Hibiscus Spa, or just soak in the outdoor heated pool. The rooms employ soft lighting and are the epitome of understated elegance with muted tones and contemporary decor.
