Elite Casino Resorts LLC broke ground on its $147.2 million Walker's Bluff Casino Resort project in the city of Carterville, in Southern Illinois on December 8, 2021. The casino opened on August 25, 2023. The 190,000 sq ft facility features a 116-room & suite hotel with high-speed internet access with complimentary Wi-Fi, 42" flat screen TV's, Pay Per View, refrigerators, microwaves (suites only) and more.

Other property amenities include a 1,200-seat event center and a show lounge for live entertainment, a spacious indoor/outdoor pool & hot tub, a full-service spa, and a fitness center, along with on-site dining options 22 & Vine, Draft Day, The Lounge, and Ruthie's Steak & Seafood. Guests can also shop for specialty gift items and necessities at the Café @ 22 & Vine. The casino offers 650 slot machines, 14 table games and a sports lounge, soon to offer sports betting. 

Walker's Bluff Winery is an added bonus.

The Iowa-based casino company already owns and operates Riverside Casino and Golf Resort in Riverside, Iowa, which opened in 2006, Grand Falls Casino Resort in Larchwood, Iowa, which opened in 2011, Rhythm City Casino Resort in Davenport, Iowa, and Grand Island Casino Resort located in Grand Island, Nebraska.

Draft Day Sports Lounge

A full service bar and restaurant, Draft Day Sports Lounge at Walker's Bluff Casino Resort offers signature crafted cocktails, local beer and a menu options that include appetizers like Spicy Fried Pickles and Draft Day Nachos, and a selection of flatbread pizza, sandwiches such as the BKT Stack, and burgers starring the Spike Burger and the Playbook Burger adorned with smoked peppered bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, and garlic mayo. Enjoy good eats and drinks while relaxing in comfy chairs and watching your favorite sports team on one of the HDTVs found on every wall.

22 & VINE

In addition to Ruthie's and the sports lounge, visitors can also enjoy casual and contemporary dining at 22 & Vine. Serving breakfast and lunch 7 days a week, guests can choose from Chicken Fried Breakfast, omelets, and Walker's Bluff Breakfast, as well as lunch and dinner options including appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, pizza, and mains. Don't forget dessert. We hear the Lemon Berry Mascarpone Cream Cake is to die for. *Breakfast served until 11am at this family-friendly restaurant. 

Café at 22 & Vine

• Serving: Cafe/Variety, Quick Eats

If you're looking for something tasty but you don't really have time for a sit down meal, Café at 22 & VINE is the place to go. Choose from hot and cold quick bites and beverages, like gourmet coffee, pastries, desserts, sandwiches, wraps, salads, hot dogs, pizza by the slice, and more. On your way be sure to browse the souvenirs at the Gift Shop.

 

The Lounge

Located next to The Spa at Walker's Bluff Casino & Resort, the Lounge is a full-service bar and al fresco dining, with options such as stone oven pizza, burgers and sandwiches, salads, appetizers and more. Diners are treated to great views of the Walker's Bluff vineyard, not to mention there are plenty of HDTVS, making it a perfect spot to catch the game and have a specialty cocktail and something tasty to eat before an outdoor show on the pool stage.

The Show Lounge at Walker's Bluff plays host to local and regional entertainment on the weekends, while TVs around the full-service bar make it the perfect place to catch the big games and/or try your luck at bar-top video poker while enjoying a refreshing adult beverage. *Must be 21 years or older to attend events in the Show Lounge.

Event Center

The configurable space within the Event Center at Walker's Bluff Casino Resort features state-of-the-art technology for in-person meetings or web meetings. The space can accommodate everything from business meetings to weddings.
