Located at 35 Fair Drive (at the main entrance to the Gillespie County Fairgrounds) The Race Barn offers simulcast betting on top greyhound and horse racing from all across the country. You can bet on live races from Texas, Florida, Kentucky, Louisiana, California and more.

Big days here include special events like the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes, Belmont Stakes, All American Futurity and Breeders' Cup. Races are shown on two giant screens and more than 30 individual TVs in the state of the art climate controlled facility.

There is also a casual dining room and a full bar. The Race Barn is open Thursday through Sunday beginning at 11:00AM.
