After breaking ground on Jan. 5th, 2023, the Seminole Tribe of Florida and Seminole Gaming celebrated the grand opening of the Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel & Casino on Feb. 6, 2025. The new casino, hotel and entertainment complex was constructed on the Brighton Seminole Reservation, located northwest of Lake Okeechobee. The federally recognized tribe's new casino is located on a 75-acre site three miles north of its now-shuttered Seminole Brighton Casino.

The first four-star resort in the Lake Okeechobee region offers a luxurious stay with 100 guest rooms across four floors and 72,000 square feet. Guests can choose rooms with either one king bed or two queens, including three spacious suites. Amenities include a fitness center and an outdoor swimming pool with a bar and entertainment stage. The property boasts an indoor event space accommodating 400 banquet or bingo guests or 900 in a performance setup.

Guests can also enjoy Brighton Bay Bowling, a 7,044-square-foot, 10-lane bowling alley, the first of its kind at a Seminole Casino. Dining options include a fine-dining American steakhouse and multiple quick-service restaurants, catering to every taste. This premier destination combines modern luxury, entertainment, and dining for an unforgettable experience.

The new casino has a total of nearly 38,000 square feet, 40% larger than the old space, and features 623 slot machines and 18 tables for blackjack, baccarat and other house-banked card games. The totals also include a smoke-free gaming space with 101 slot machines and a high-limit gaming area with 42 slot machines and four table games.

The new property will be the fourth Seminole Gaming facility with a hotel. The others are the Seminole Casino Hotel Immokalee, the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa and the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood.
