The Champion Energy Services Jockey Club is a member’s-only club offering a perfect dining experience to go along with live racing. Enjoy  a casual lunch or dinner buffet highlighted by fresh seafood, specialty pastas, and brunch  items. Varied and delicious entrees are offered along with carving stations featuring lamb, beef, ham, and poultry along with  gourmet desserts. There is no  need to leave your table to get in on the next race, simulcast, or live from the track with personal betting and teller stations at  every table.

Sam Houston Race Park Venues & Hotspots

Bud Light Stage

Buy your $7 general admission tickets to live racing before 8:00 p.m  and get into concerts free at the Bud Light stage. Come later and the tickets are $20 each. Concert dates are Friday and Saturday nights from March through May.  Expect a great line-up of Country and Texas country artists to take to the Bud Light Stage and perform for an audience seated on an  open lawn. Seating is on a first come, first serve basis.

The Showgrounds

The Showgrounds is not only a great venue to rent for your gathering of up to 15,000 people - it's also the place to see top name acts in concert. Come see country and southern rock by such well known names as Country Music Icon Hank Williams Jr., 38 Special, and Wade Bowen.
