Located off of Interstate 95 in Emporia, Virginia, Rosie's Gaming Emporium opened to the public on Sept. 25, 2023. The 21,000 square foot gaming property at 700 W Atlantic St is owned by Churchill Downs, Inc. and features 150 Historic Horse Racing (HHR) games, with 150 situated in a non-smoking room and the other 150 in a smoking room, and a betting area where patrons can place wagers on active horse races happening live across the country. Other amenities include a fast-casual dining option, Rosie's Kitchen, and live entertainment. 

The gaming hall in Emporia is Churchill Downs Inc.'s seventh location in Virginia, including Dumfries, Hampton, New Kent, Richmond, Vinton and Collinsville. Plus, residents of Dumfries can look forward to Rose Gaming Resort opening along I-95. The $372 million gaming and entertainment complex destination will include a luxury hotel, eight bars and restaurants, a cultural venue, a space for meetings and events, and over 80 acres of green space.
