Osage Nation Lake of Ozarks Casino Review - CLOSED Jump to comments

Update: Nov. 2024: Missouri voters rejected Amendment 5 on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024, which would have amended the state constitution to allow a casino to be built at the Lake of the Ozarks. Although Missouri voters rejected Amendment 5, the Osage Nation may still develop a separate casino in the future.
In Missouri, on October 29, 2021, the Osage Nation announced plans to develop a new entertainment district at the Lake of the Ozarks. The estimated $60 million investment will reportedly take place in phases, with Phase 1 including the construction of a casino, sports bar, restaurant, and meeting space. Additionally, it also includes a hotel, which will have rooms and suites, a fitness and exercise facility, a pool and hot tub, and a pool bar.
The project still needs approval from the United States Department of Interior before Phase 1 construction can begin. A timeline for construction has yet to be announced, neither has the exact location of the planned complex within the county. The Osage Nation operates seven casinos in Oklahoma.
