Located in Northville at 7 Mile and Sheldon Road, Northville Downs is the only horse raceway in the state of Michigan. The facilities were constructed in 1944, becoming the first nighttime harness race track in the state. The track is currently open seven days weekly for simulcast wagering and Friday and Saturday evenings for live races. The track's restaurant seats 250+ and is open during live racing.

In April 2018, luxury home builder Hunter Pasteur Homes purchased Northville Downs and all 48 acres of land that Northville Downs is situated on. The owners say that harness racing and simulcast wagering will continue through 2020 at the site and that they are "exploring multiple other locations to develop a first-class, state-of-the-art racing and gaming facility."

The Trackview Restaurant offers a casual dining experience with seating for more than 250 guests in a contemporary setting. Visitors will enjoy a great view of exciting live horse racing while dining when the restaurant is open during live racing. Once a table is reserved, it is reserved for the entire evening.

During the Live Race Season (resumes March 2019), every Saturday night enjoy a variety of freshly prepared Dinner Entrees, hand carved Roast Beef and Ham, Fresh Fruit Bar, Cheese Assortment, Fresh Breads, and a wonderful Dessert Display.
