After about 20 years of consideration the Nambé Pueblo has entered the casino business with their Nambé Falls Casino about 16 miles north of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Joining 14 other tribes in the state with gaming enterprises, the Nambe Falls Casino is located next to their existing Nambé Falls Travel Center off U.S. 84-28. Ground was broken May 8, 2015. The "casino-ette" was expected to open in November, then December, and then January 13 was set as a tentative date. The casino opened on January 17, 2015.

The property offers about 180 slot machines, and no table games in 7,310 square feet of casino space. "Boutique" is the word used by a representative to decribe the new space.

The casino is aimed at "locals who don't always want to game at the larger facilities but seek that comfortable, convenient and personalized setting," according to Albuquerque Development Services Group & Associates CEO, Matt Doyle, developer of the project.
