Located in Smith River, on the California-Oregon border, Lucky 7 Casino Hotel is owned and operated by the Tolowa Dee-ni' Nation. Along with the casino, the property's Howonquet Lodge features 71 well-appointed, smoke-free rooms and suites situated over three floors, with either Pacific ocean or mountain views, one restaurant with buffet, concierge and bellman service, room service, RV parking, business center, cardio room, 6,400 square feet of meeting & event space, and a heated indoor pool and hot tub. The non-smoking room has three large-screen TVs that are tuned to current sporting events, a progressive Bad Beat jackpot, and a Monte Carlo board. The poker room holds cash games and tournaments on its four tables four nights a week. The games of choice are No Limit Hold’em and Omaha hi-lo, with Tournaments offered from Wednesday through Saturday starting at 6pm (check-in begins at 5:30pm). Cash games are offered in the poker room each evening after the tournaments.

The menu draws inspiration from the region and features a wide variety of breakfast and dinner entrees, salads, burgers, sandwiches, appetizers, pasta, prime rib, and steaks, and signature dishes such as the High Roller, which is a beef tenderloin dinner, and the Casino Royale, an 8oz bacon-wrapped filet mignon dinner. The restaurant also offers a $9 Senior Lunch on Thursdays (includes $10 Free Play), a $7.77 Early Bird Menu, along with many dining specials.
