Update: A groundbreaking ceremony for Live! Casino & Hotel Virginia was held on March 19, 2025. The development site is located on Brasfield Parkway at the intersection of Wagner Road and Interstate I-95 just 20 miles south of Richmond, Virginia. 

A temporary gaming facility will open by the end of 2025 and will include approximately 75,000 square feet of gaming space, 900 slots, 33 live table games, a casino bar, a quick service restaurant and 1,000 free parking spots. 

The permanent casino and hotel, which is expected to be completed in 2027, will reportedly feature over 450,000 square feet of gaming, hotel and dining space, 75,000 square feet of meeting, convention and entertainment space including a 4,000-seat venue for concerts and special events and an upscale 200-room hotel featuring 20 suites, resort pool and fitness center. Gaming will include 1,600 slot machines, 65 live dealer table games, including a 22-table poker room, along with High Limit slot and table areas, a sportsbook, 10 food and entertainment options and free parking.
