Located on M22 in Peshawbestown just 20 miles north of Traverse City, Leelanau Sands Casino is owned and operated by the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians and part of Grand Traverse Resorts, along with sister casino Turtle Creek Casino & Hotel in Williamsburg. 

Leelanau Sands Casino guests will find 350 of the hottest multi-denomination slots including reels, video, keno, and poker, as well as progressive slots such as Lightning Link and Fu Dao Le, the newest arrival. Players who prefer live-action can choose from blackjack, Three Card Poker, and craps, as well as traditional bingo, which is offered in The Birch Room.

Update: The Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians has partnered with William Hill and if all goes according to plan, the latest addition to the property, Onyx Sports Bar, should have a "William Hill Sports Book" in time for the 2020 NFL season. A satellite location is planned for sister site Leelanau Sands Casino at the same time. 

Other amenities include a cozy 50-room lodge situated adjacent to the casino and the Sands Showroom, the property's 1,000-seat entertainment venue; and a sit-down restaurant and deli, and a full-service bar.
