Located just outside Laurel, Maryland between Washington D.C. and Baltimore, Laurel Park is operated by the Maryland Jockey Club and is owned by the Stronach Group.  Offering thoroughbred horse racing since 1911, Laurel Park features a 1-mile 600 feet oval dirt track along with 7/8 mile turf and 254 feet inside main track. Live racing is featured three and four days a week and simulcast is offered daily. There are plenty of food and beverage options inclduing terrace dining, concessions and bars.
