Formerly the Sheraton Old San Juan, the Hotel Rumbao, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is ideally situated on the waterfront, at the center of Old San Juan on the island of Puerto Rico. The property will reportedly add a casino to its already existing facilities. The casino is to be located on the first level of the Paseo Portuario building, which Driftwood Capital acquired in 2021 for $21.7 million. The construction, which has already begun, is expected to take about 12 months. The casino investment is expected to be approximately $12 million. Spanish-based operator Grupo Orenes will reportedly be in charge of casino ops.

The yet-to-be-named casino will be connected to the hotel.
