Groupe Lucien Barriere Casinos has signed a 10 year deal with Société des Palaces de Cocody (SPDC) to operate Golden Elephant casino that will be located at the Sofitel Hotel Ivoire in Abidjan, Ivory Coast covering a floor area of more than 17, 222 sq ft.

The casino will offer 84 slot machines, live table games including 4 poker tables linked to a progressive jackpot that can award a minimum payout of 5m CFA francs (€7,622) when triggered. The live table games will only be open for play to foreigners.

The casino will also feature a 150-seat event room, a restaurant and a lounge bar.
