Owned and operated by Penn National Gaming, Inc., Hollywood Casino York is located in Springettsbury Township, Pennsylvania in the space once occupied by the former Sears store at the western end of the Galleria Mall. The contemporary 80,000 sq ft "mini-casino" opened to the public on August 12, 2021, and offers approximately 500 slot machines and 24 table games, featuring blackjack, craps, roulette and poker variations. Other amenities include a Barstool Sportsbook and racebook with a full-service bar, a casual restaurant and bar, a grab-n-go eatery and more. 

Other properties owned by Penn National Gaming, Inc. in Pennsylvania include Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course in Grantville and The Meadows Racetrack & Casino in Washington. What will be its fourth casino property in the state, Hollywood Casino Morgantown is scheduled for opening later in 2021.
