Work is expected to begin within the first months of 2023 on Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Athens to be located in Elliniko, Greece at the former site of Hellinikon International Airport, and last approximately three years. The development will combine a 5-Star luxury resort, a casino with 200 tables and 2,000 gaming machines, a 200-meter tower with 1,000 guest rooms and suites overlooking the waterfront or views across Athens to the Parthenon. Other planned amenities include meeting and convention space, a state-of-the-art entertainment venue, food and beverage, a Rock® Spa and Pool Complex, a high-end retail promenade, a marina, and more. The resort is expected to open in 2026.
