Situated in Hakodate City in Hokkaido, Hakodate racecourse has two race meetings each year. The place features a main turf course in three lengths and a dirt course.
It takes approximately 20 minutes to arrive here from JR Hakodate Station by bus and 25 minutes by Municipal Railroad (Tram). On race days, a special bus (fare charged) runs from the Racecourse Main Gate.
Hakodate Racecourse is only five kilometers away from Hakodate Airport.
