Easily accessible by air, with a quick 30-minute flight from Miami and a 2-hour flight from New York, Habacoa, located in the South Abaco district of the northern Bahamas, is set to be North America's largest and most comprehensive superyacht marina & luxury residential community. Habacoa developers have selected Zaha Hadid Architects to design both the Yacht Club and Nightclub & Casino. 

The Porto Habacoa marina will have an undulating roof inspired by waves and angled to direct cooling sea breezes throughout the interior, while the yacht club will be surrounded by gardens and will include a members’ restaurant and bar, open-air terraces and an event hub.

According to the press release, the adjoined casino and nightclub will have two lobbies in a “virtually transparent design”. The 5,000 sq ft gaming floor will be connected with the marina and covered outdoor spaces.

Expected to open in 2027, the marina will reportedly contain 250 homes, 134 berths and a 150-berth marina for boats measuring up to 200m. Visitors can also expect dining, fast casual to upscale elegant, shopping, from sporty to couture, and a host of luxurious service offerings, from spa to salon.
