Update: Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited will be re-branding Gateway Casino Hanover to Playtime Casino Hanover when they complete their $18 million expansion and renovation of the property. The expansion will include an expanded footprint with an additional 3,283 square foot mezzanine, 300 slots, live table games (pending necessary approvals) and two new restaurants - Gateway’s signature restaurant brands MATCH Eatery & Public House and The Buffet.

The re-brand is expected to take place in March or April 2019.

Located in Hanover, Ontario, situated in the Grey-Bruce Peninsula, Gateway Casino Hanover is owned and operated by Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited. The property includes nearly 200 multi-denomination slot machines, inclduing some of the latest games out. The venue is also home to The Coach House Restaurant, which serves a full menu including breakfast. Hanover Raceway, another feature of the property, is owned and operated by the Hanover, Bentinck & Brant Agricultural Society and includes a 1/2 mile harness racing track for standardbreds, a simulcast lounge, with HPIBET location; snack bar, and beer & liquor concession stand.
