Foxwoods Resort Casino at Biloxi Pointe will be located at the end of 8th Street on the site of the former Heinz plant in the Back Bay area of Biloxi, Mississippi. It will become the 9th casino on the Bay, with another opening before 2016 on the other side of the bay. The $265 million facility is expected to open in the spring of 2019. All that's left to occur is road completion and the resort can begin construction.

Upon completion, the 781,000 square-foot full-service complex will offer gaming and non-gaming amenities including nearly 50,000 square feet of gaming space with 1,380 table positions and slots. Surface gaming tables and a fantasy sports lounge are included in the current plans.

A hotel with 500 guestrooms and suites will be connected to the casino floor. Hotel amenities include 24 hour room service, spa and fitness center, and pool with 15,000 sq. ft. of deck space.

Six dining venues including fine dining, a buffet, sports bar restaurant, 24/7 casual diner and a grab and go eatery.

Over 70,000 sq ft of convention, exhibit, and theater space will be provided over two venues. There will also be over 3,000 sq ft of retail space and a 10,000 sq ft bowling alley and shuffleboard center with an intimate entertainment venue.

1,000 surface parking units and 650 garage parking spaces will be provided for guests.

The development is a partnership between the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation and local developer Biloxi Boardwalk Ventures and management firm The Hartmann Group.

Steakhouse

It's currently a bit early to be looking for a working name for the fine dining venue at Foxwoods Resort Casino At Biloxi Pointe, but we can tell you that among at least four restaurants planned, one is an American steakhouse. Expect prime cuts of dry-aged beef along with fresh seafood and a comprehensive wine list for starters.

Sports Bar & Grille

We're not sure yet whether the Sports Bar & Grille at Foxwoods Biloxi Pointe will be branded, bespoke, or feature a celebrity. The venue is sure to please the crowds with upscale bar and pub bites as well as regional comfort foods. Expect plenty of flatscreen to follow the action and most likely live music or DJs on the weekends.

Buffet

No casino worth its salt would try to please Gulf Coast gamblers and visitors without a scrumptious buffet featuring all your international favorites and regional dishes.

Cafe

Foxwoods Biloxi Pointe will offer a casual cafe dining experience to go with the steakhouse, sports bar and grille, and buffet. More details as we get closer to opening day!
