June 2024Sonoma County is seeking public input on a supplemental environmental study submitted by the Dry Creek Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians for their proposed expansion of River Rock Casino. The casino, located off Highway 128 east of Geyserville, has a 37,000-square-foot gaming floor with 1,000 slot machines and 24 gaming tables, as well as 8,000 square feet of dining space. The expansion would reportedly add a new casino building, increase the gaming floor by more than 3,000 square feet and add 300 slot machines and four more gaming tables, with an additional 1,214 square feet of dining space.

Dry Creek Rancheria also proposes a new 100-room hotel tower with a spa, pool and 7,000 square feet of dining.
