12 Tribes Pasco Casino Hotel Review Jump to comments
The Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation plan to build the Tri-Cities’ first yet-to-be-named tribal casino in Pasco, Washington. The Colville plans on building a 184,200 square-foot casino, along with a 200-room hotel, event center, dining, travel stop and supporting facilities. The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) is overseeing the extensive process to place 165 acres of land owned by the Colville, located off Highway 395 and Kartchner Street, into a federal trust.
The federal approval of the Pasco casino is a 16-step process. The tribes expect a final decision by late 2024 or early 2025.
There are private casinos in the Tri-Cities, however, there are no tribal operations nearby. Wildhorse Casino and Resort near Pendleton, Oregon, is operated by the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Reservation, while Legends Casino & Hotel in Toppenish is operated by the Bands of the Yakama Nation.
In addition to the Pasco proposal, the Colville operate three 12 Tribes casinos, in Omak, Lake Chelan and Coulee Dam, in Washington.
