Bergen Travpark located about 15km from the center of Bergen in idyllic surroundings. Arriving at the venue will take about  45 minutes from the Bergen Airport.

The race track  is 1,000 meters long and one of the fastest courses in Norway. The national record for a warmblood horse was set here by Shan Rags with a one kilometer time of 1.11.3. This is primarily a young horse track with most being 3 years old. Bergen still holds the record for  4-year-old thoroughbred horses with a time of  1.14.3 in the kilometer.

General facilities at the park include parking, betting kiosks, café, pub, restaurant, and toilet accommodations.
