Update 3/6/25 - After in Sept. 2024, Bally's withdrew from the planned Nittany Mall Casino project, a new partner - SC Gaming - has signed an agreement with Saratoga Casino Holdings LLC to develop and manage the venue inside the former Macy’s location at the mall, pending regulatory approvals and construction is underway for the category 4 casino in College Township, Pennsylvania.
Construction on the estimated $120 million category 4 casino, located in the 94,000-square-foot anchor spot at the mall, began earlier this year and is slated for completion in early 2026. The casino will operate around the clock, seven days a week, and will feature 750 slot machines, 30 table games, and sports betting. Additionally, it will include a sports-themed restaurant and bar with an entertainment stage, as well as a multi-outlet quick-serve food court.
