Update June 2023: 4 Bears Casino & Lodge broke ground on a new 7-story hotel tower, which will include 90 guestrooms, gaming, offices, a 3,100 square foot sports bar with dining room and gaming stations, a seventh-floor 2,500 square foot ballroom, and a fine dining steakhouse. The addition will also include a new Sakakawea Spa with couples’ massage, a gift shop, a fitness room, and a hair, nail and pedi salon. Also included in the project, upgrades to the entrance lobby and first-floor kitchen, and a dedicated glass-backed elevator to the suite on the 7th floor. Construction of the new hotel got started in June 2023 and is set to be completed summer of 2025.

Located on the western shore of Lake Sakakawea between Minot and Williston in New Town, North Dakota, 4 Bears Casino & Lodge is one of the most venerable tribal casinos in the state, having opened in 1993. In addition to a 120,000-square-foot casino floor featuring slots, video poker, roulette, craps, live-action poker, and North Dakota's very first sportsbook. There are cafe-style eateries and big-name entertainment. The hotel features 150 rooms, meeting rooms and amenities. Just outside is an RV Park, lakeside luxury cabins, a campground, and a marina with boat and jet-ski rentals and all the supplies you would need for a day on the lake.

In July 2024, 4 Bears Casino & Lodge added an exciting new amenity to its lineup. Willow River Riverboat is nearly 80 feet long and is the casino's new flagship gaming riverboat. The three-level vessel features approximately 45 slot machines and live dealer blackjack and three-card poker tables. Other amenities include a food galley, event space, an observation deck and bars and restrooms on all three decks. Public cruises and private bookings are available for daily 3-hour public excursions across Lake Sakakawea Wednesday – Sunday: 3pm – 6pm and 7pm – 10pm.
