About the California Lottery
The California Lottery offers the residents of the state of California and its visitors many exciting lottery games to choose from. The California Lottery offers six lottery games (Daily 3, Daily Derby, Fantasy 5, Hot Spot, Mega-Millions and Super Lotto Plus), scratchers and even has a game show, The Big Spin TV show, which has an amazing three million dollar ($3 million) grand prize. Players must be at least eighteen (18) years old to participate in California Lottery gaming.
The Daily 3 Lotto Game
The California Daily 3 lottery is a pari-mutuel game where the number of players determines the prize pool results and the cash prize is split between the lotto winners relative to the amount played. The more lotto players in a game the larger the prize pool. Daily 3 lottery tickets are one dollar ($1) per play and players can play their chosen numbers for up to fourteen (14) consecutive drawings. Drawings are held twice daily. How to Play: Daily 3 lotto players begin by purchasing a ticket at their local California lottery retailer. Players can either get a Quick Pick where the computer chooses the numbers or the player can choose three numbers from zero to nine and a playstyle (straight, box or straight/box). A straight playstyle requires that the three numbers chosen by the player be drawn in the same order to win. A box playstyle allows the player two chances to win. The Daily Derby is California Lotteries horse racing themed game. Daily Derby players select three horses and the order they will finish (first, second or third). Players then select the last three digits of the final race time, which is the time it took the first place horse to complete the race. The Fantasy 5 lottery game is another exciting game offered by The California Lottery. In this lotto game, players pick and match five (5) numbers and can win more than five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000). The top cash prize starts at fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) and grows until a lucky player wins.
How to Play California Fantasy 5 Lotto: Fantasy 5 lotto players must choose five (5) numbers from one thru thirty-nine (1-39). If a player matches all five numbers, they win the grand prize, which starts at fifty thousand dollars ($50,000)!
