Raceway Park Review - CLOSED Jump to comments
Raceway Park opened as a Toledo, Ohio car track in 1949 and has hosted horse racing since 1958. The property was purchased by Penn National Gaming, Inc. in 2005. The Ohio State Racing Commission announced on May 1st, 2013 that Penn had been given permission to move to Dayton. It is expected that the move will occur sometime in the second quarter of 2014 when the new track is completed. At that time we will close this page and bring you the new Raceway and Casino. The move was necessary in order to bring patrons a full casino experience, without competing with the voter approved Hollywood Casino Toledo (also owned by Penn) that it opened in 2012 on Toledo’s riverfront.
Keno and simulcast services will be available until further notice at the Toledo facility. Free admission.
