Acquired in June 2023 from Kirkland-based Maverick Gaming by Chicago real estate investment firm Oak Street Real Estate Capital LLC, Palace Casino Lakewood is located in Pierce County, Washington, in the city of Lakewood. The $27 million deal for a single parcel property, located at 8200 Tacoma Mall Blvd #B and 8200 Tacoma Mall Blvd, comprised two buildings spanning 7,817 square feet and 13,807 square feet, Chips Casino Lakewood and Palace Casino Lakewood. For the purpose of this profile, we will focus on the latter. 

Situated on the eastern end of the city near the Interstate 5 ramp at South 84th Street, Palace Casino Lakewood is open 24/7 and features a variety of table and poker games along with one restaurant (shared with Chips Casino) serving breakfast and international fare including American, Chinese and Vietnamese menu selections and a full-service bar.

Palace is on the north end of the building and Chips is at the south end. Both card rooms are owned by Oak Street Real Estate Capital LLC.

Palace Casino Lakewood is located on the same property as Chips Casino at 8200 Tacoma Mall Boulevard in Lakewood. Here you will find 8 Hold'em tables and 7 Vegas style card games 24 hours a day most of the week. Between the two casinos there are 22 table games. There is also an international restaurant serving Thai, Vietnamese, Mexican, Chinese and American fare with  a different burger special each week. Players rave about the poker room here and many bypass their own local mini casino to take part in the action.

Palace Casino's Poker Room has 8 Hold’em tables, $3-6, $4-8, $8-16. Play no limit tournaments and limit cash games seven days a week. Tournament play starts at 8:30am with a $20 entry fee and $2 admin fee. Sign up is 8am. The $3-6 games have a $30-no max buy-in.  $4-8 is $40-no max, and the $8-16 cash game will cost you $80 to get some action. The room is open 24/7 except Monday and Tuesday open 8am to 4am.
