Mohegan Pennsylvania, formerly Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs, is owned by the Mohegan Tribe of Indians of Connecticut. This property is one of the most expansive, distinctive and magnificent entertainment, gaming, shopping & dining venues in all of Pennsylvania. The seven-story 238-key hotel includes 218 standard rooms and 20 suites, along with a 4,000 sq ft spa & salon, indoor pool, fitness center, 20,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, including the 16,000 sq ft Keystone Grand Ballroom, live entertainment every weekend and multiple shopping options. Guests can also choose from several dining options and bars/lounges, including two fine dining options and an array of casual dining restaurants and grab-and-go sites in the food court.

Live harness racing generally runs from March through November every year. 

The casino features 82,000 square feet of gaming space, nearly half of which has non-smoking sections, with over 1,900 gaming machines, a luxurious high-limit slot room and a private player's lounge, more than 50 table games, a non-smoking 9-table poker room with daily tournaments and the Unibet Sportsbook.

The casino, racetrack, and new hotel sit on 400 acres in the quiet countryside of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. It is easy to get to from the major metro areas of Philadelphia, Delaware, New York, and New Jersey.

Open daily, the smoke-free Mohegan Pennsylvania Poker Room spreads games on 9 tables with 7 players per table. A South Philly staple since 1992, Tony Luke's is sandwich shop that specializes in Philadelphia favorites including made-to-order cheesesteaks, roast pork sandwiches and chicken cutlets served on freshly-baked bread. In between gaming, or anytime, really, a delicious sub and topped with what you like and some fries or other tasty side. 

Ruth's Chris Steak House at Mohegan Pennsylvania

Reservations are definitely recommended at Ruth's Chris Steak House at Mohegan Pennsylvania. Many well-traveled diners know the Ruth's Chris name and swear by it as the best steakhouse in the country. Prime cuts of beef are masterfully seared at 1,800 degrees and arrive at your table perfectly sizzling. The original restaurant opened in New Orleans and you can still get NOL style eats here.
