Live! Casino & Hotel, formerly Maryland Live! Casino, is a casino and entertainment center located in the  Arundel Mills commercial district of Hanover, Maryland. It was the third full-scale casino to open in Maryland when the first phase debuted on June 6, 2012. It has since expanded the gaming opportunities on its 160,000 square foot gaming floor to include live table games and poker.

In addition to gaming, the 17-story, 350,000 square foot Live! Hotel at Live! Casino includes 310 guestrooms, an Event Center with more than 20,000-square-feet of meeting and banquet space including the 13,696 square feet Grand Ballroom, which includes six breakout rooms; a 3,740 square feet pre-function area, and a 1,500-seat concert venue. Other Live! Hotel amenities include Live! Spa which features a state-of-the-art fitness center and beauty salon with outdoor patio area, along with new dining and nightlife options and an expanded retail offering.

As of Feb. 22, 2018, the casino boasts approx. 4,000 slots and video poker machines, dozens of dealer-assist electronic table games and more than 200 live action table games and a new Super 4 Blackjack Progressive wager, and a 50-table poker room spreading Hold'em. Omaha, and 7 Stud.

Maryland's very first outdoor gaming area where guests can smoke and play, Orchid Gaming & Smoking Patio, features gaming including both live and electronic table action, along with slots and video poker. Other amenities include an exclusive bar featuring barrel-aged cocktails and an extensive collection of spirits, lounge seating and premium cigars that have been curated by Orchid’s very own cigar experts and housed in specialty-built humidors within the bar.

Aside from gambling the main entertainment venue at Live! Casino & Hotel is the Ram's Head Center Stage venue open 24/7 and hosting live concerts as well as DJ-driven dance music and events. There are nine restaurants including upscale and casual eateries, and the R Bar - a high tech lounge with gaming.

Live! Center Stage

Hosting bands, comics and international acts, Live! Center Stage at Live! Casino Hotel Maryland offers 4,000 sq. ft. customizable floor space along with a host of features such as a 270” high-def projection screen, multi-plasma video wall and state-of-the-art concert style audio/visual equipment. There are reservable VIP booths with seating for up to 6 and Live! Center Stage can accommodate sit-down dinners for up to 200, classroom seating for 138, theater-style seating for 416, and more.

R Bar

The R Bar is located at the heart of the casino floor at Live! Casino & Hotel and offers a high tech gaming and lounge experience featuring 56 “dealer-assist” Electronic Table Games offering Baccarat, Roulette and Craps alongside 100 LED screens broadcasting all of your favorite sporting events. Live music is featured Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

Grand Event Center

The Grand Event Center at Live! Casino & Hotel features upwards of 20,000-square-feet of meeting and banquet space including the configurable 13,696 square feet Grand Ballroom which can accommodate up to 1,600 people. It includes six breakout rooms which range from 2,700 square feet with accommodations for as many as 270 guests to 1,394 square feet with accommodations for as many as 125 people. There is also a 3,740 square feet pre-function area, which is ideally suited for business meetings, professional conferences, weddings, or corporate retreats.

The Prime Rib & Patio is also an ideal location for dinner receptions and group dining events, with two private dining rooms, piano bar lounge, main dining room and an enclosed patio featuring an oversized glass fireplace and retractable roof.

In addition, the Event Center also houses a 1,500-seat concert venue with features including a built-in performance stage which will play host to a regular lineup of headline entertainment to be announced.

In spring of 2019, a Phase 2 expansion project will double the size of the meeting and banquet space to 40,000- square- feet, and expand the Event Center seating capacity to 4,000 seats for concerts, special events, conventions, and meeting space for both private and County events, such as High School graduations, according to The Cordish Companies.

Orchid Gaming & Smoking Patio

Maryland's very first full-service outdoor gaming area where gamblers are permitted to smoke while they play is now open at Live! Casino Hotel. Orchid Gaming & Smoking Patio features 12 live action table games, including Blackjack, Baccarat and Roulette and 28 electronic table positions, including "Dealer Assist" Blackjack, Baccarat, Craps and Roulette. Additionally, there are more than 150 of the latest slots, including Video Poker, in denominations ranging from $.01 to $10.
