More recently Golden Gate Casino was purchased by the Mardi Gras Casino one of the larger casinos in Black Hawk who's parking garage and the casino had almost swallowed Golden Gate's Casino. This may have been a lucky twist of fate as Golden Gate Casinos biggest problem was parking.
